I know a mothers labor and delivery never ends, and you have to keep remembering to breathe.

Ann Voskamp

Grown don’t mean nothing to a mother.  A child is a child.  They get bigger, older, but grown?  In my heart it don’t mean a thing.

Toni Morrison

I think motherhood is one of God’s planned experiences to revealed to us what it feels like to never ever give up on someone.  I would have to bring destruction on my own heart to stop the love, care, concern and longing I have for my kids.  And, yet, what did God do to His own son?  For us?  To have us near and whole?

Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I  will not forget you!

Isaiah 49:15
