Hello Friends.  Happy Thanksgiving!  There are many things that I am grateful for this year and this blog is definitely one of them.  It has been one of the most challenging things I’ve done in a long time.  I have felt stretched, frustrated, delighted, pushed, surprised, pleased and invigorated.  Thank you for reading.

I’m hosting Thanksgiving diner for my family this year and, so that I can move on to cranberry sauce (I have a GREAT recipe for fresh cranberries if you need one), onion dip, mashed potatoes and table setting, I am sharing thoughts from much better thinkers than myself:

Nothing is more honorable than a grateful heart.

Senecca

Give Thanks to the LORD, for He is good;  for His lovingkindness is everlasting.

1 Chronicles 16:34

The Pilgrims made seven times more graves than huts.  No Americans have been more impoverished than these who, nevertheless, set aside a day of thanksgiving.

H.U. Westermayer

Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.

William Arthur Ward

I will praise the name of God with song, and shall magnify Him with thanksgiving.

Psalm 69:30

Thanksgiving, man.  Not a good day to be my pants.

Kevin James
